But I can't wait for the perfect script to come along. Gotta start trying to work for a finished product. Submit some stuff to some publishers. Get my name out there. But that means I've gotta get an artist soon. That to me is the most daunting task.
Lots of great artists on DA. Lots of different styles. Some of these people I can tell are professionals and already have a job. Do I go ahead and contact them? Probably not, but then again maybe they can direct me to people that would like to work with me? Is that acceptable? I don't really expect to be working right away with the professionals anyways, but a lot of the amateurs even seem to have their own thing going on. Should I go ahead and contact them to see if they're available just in case?
I feel like I already know these answers, but I'm nervous all the same. I don't expect to be lucky enough to find a partner on my first try, but rejection is never fun.
And should I post some script up as an example for any potential partners? Or should I wait until someone is interested before I send my script?
